Simple In-Line Check Valve – HG-G1/4 – 0.5 BAR

The HG-G1/4 – 0.5 BAR In-Line Check Valve (non-return) is a blocking valve that allows flow in one direction and blocks it in the opposite direction. These valves comply with the DIN ISO 1219 standard for oil-hydraulic installations.

The ACT check valves (HG-G1/4 – 0.5 BAR version) are spring-loaded poppet valves. They consist mainly of a housing with an integrated valve seat, a hardened and ground closing cone, and a compression spring.

The closing cone is pressed against the valve seat by the compression spring, thereby blocking connection A from connection B. The valve opens when the pressure at connection B is greater than the pressure at connection A, plus the opening pressure generated by the spring force.

For check valves (non-return valves) without a spring, the fixed position must ensure that the poppet remains in the closed position.
